WLDA Ventures is a mission-driven accelerator program designed to empower early-stage, high-growth companies founded, owned, or led by diverse teams inclusive of women. Despite the immense potential of women-led technology companies, they represent only a small percentage of all startups. Female founders still face significant hurdles in accessing the level of funding and support their male counterparts often enjoy. WLDA Ventures exists to bridge this gap, accelerating their journey to success.
At the heart of the program is a 12-week transformative experience that offers world-class training in entrepreneurship, delivered by the Asha Saxena herself. Participants are supported by a dedicated mentor team composed of WLDA members and advisors, culminating in an impactful Pitch Day where founders present to potential investors.
The 2024 cohort brought together seven trailblazing companies harnessing the power of Data and AI to tackle technical, business, social, and health challenges with innovative, safe, and equitable solutions.

These companies spanned the spectrum from early-stage startups to those with more advanced products, showcasing the diverse potential of women-led ventures. These companies also showcased the range and potential opportunities of AI.
Each company was paired with a mentor team that provided invaluable guidance, coaching, and encouragement. This collective effort involved 25 WLDA members and advisors who volunteered their time, expertise, experience, and passion to make the program a resounding success. Their contributions were pivotal, and we extend our deepest gratitude for their support.
The program concluded with an impactful and inspiring Investor Day hosted by Robin Sutara, Field CDO at Databricks, in their New York City office. Each founder had 10 minutes to present their vision, strategy, and value proposition to an audience of over 40 attendees, including angel investors, venture capitalists, WLDA members, and fellow entrepreneurs.
