Bringing together F1000 tech leaders to share breakthrough data and AI 
applications and celebrating leaders' achievements across the field  

We look forward to having you join us at the Annual WLDA Summit and Awards Gala in NYC on Dec. 2nd, 2021 where F1000 Tech leader attendees will hear from thought leaders, experts, innovators, and entrepreneurs across the data and AI fields.

Education and inspiration abound throughout the full-day TED Talk-style event.  

  • The morning will kick off with Futuristic AI, where you’ll be presented with ideas from entrepreneurs working in the distant and not so distant future of data and AI.  
  • After lunch, the summit will continue with female thought leaders presenting topics such as AI for Good, Ethical AI, and transforming AI policy. 
That evening we will head to the 2021 WLDA Awards Gala from 6 PM to 10 PM where we will celebrate leaders and influencers in technology, data, and AI, across various industries, who have stood out, taken risks, and pushed their organizations and teams to new heights.

WLDA Awards

WLDA understands the impact that Data and AI leaders have on the world. Whether it is a pure technology company or a data and AI-enabled, led, or driven organization, we want to hear from you. Each award has specific requirements that include: 

 

– What sets this individual or company apart from others in the field?

– What has she/he recently achieved?

– How have they impacted the lives of those around them and/or their company in general? Consider innovation, leadership, initiative, collaboration, etc.

 

Awarded to the corporation that has made exceptional strides in expanding their company through recruitment practices, retention structures, career pathing, leadership training, etc, which generated quantifiable improvements in the growth of women in the field. 

 

This woman leader is a prominent change maker in her company or public sector role. She has demonstrated significant development for the industry, has influenced/motivated others, and is an overall leader in data and AI (Must have 15+ years in industry or the public sector and C-suite). 

Awarded to individuals who have successfully transformed the company they work for by steering it into new markets, new opportunities, or new audiences. Awardees have demonstrated strong, measurable company growth in their guidance of women in data and AI (Must have 15+ years in industry, and be C-suite tech leader).

Awarded to women who have successfully revolutionized the field of data and AI. Whether these are new or improved products, services, tools or ways of doing things, this woman has helped the industry evolve towards success. (Must have 7+ years in a corporate career as a senior manager and up)

Awarded to leaders who have made extraordinary efforts to motivate and teach others to become better women leaders in tech. Whether these are keynote speeches, group talks, or individual mentorship, this senior leader has gone above and beyond to motivate women and to be a knowledgeable resource and leader. Roles may include CEO, COO, CMO, CAO, or other tech roles. 

Awarded to an exceptional woman on the rise in the field of Data and AI, either a PhD student or early career leader (with 5 years of deep research or 5 years of corporate experience). Our awardee have demonstrated significant strides in the field.  

Corporate Leader of the year: Leader in Developing Women Professionals in Data and AI
Awarded to the corporation that has made exceptional strides in expanding their company through recruitment practices, retention structures, career pathing, leadership training, etc, which generated quantifiable improvements in the growth of women in the field. 

WLDA Woman Leader of the Year
This woman leader is a prominent change maker in her company. She has demonstrated significant development for the industry, has influenced/motivated others and is an overall leader in data and AI (Must have 15+ years in industry, and C-suite). 

Corporate Champion of the Year (male or female) 
Awarded to individuals who have successfully transformed the company they work for by steering it into new markets, new opportunities, or new audiences.
